Dealing with a Traumatic Brain Injury

Randy Rozek • April 7, 2014

One of the worst things to experience is a brain injury. Because the brain is the most complex organ in the body, it is also more susceptible to damage. In the United States alone, over 1.4 million individuals suffer from brain injuries each year, with a good percentage of these injuries resulting in death. Such an injury can occur as a result of a car accident, medical malpractice and even slips and falls.

Unfortunately, brain injuries are usually not easily recognizable and symptoms frequently manifest some time after a person has experienced an accident. Symptoms can include headaches, slurred speech, paralysis, difficulty or inability to focus, cognitive and memory loss and a decrease in hand eye coordination.

Brain injuries can take a toll on an individual and the way he or she gets around and performs normal everyday activities. In addition, it can have a direct effect on the person’s relationships with friends, coworkers and loved ones. While joining a support group and seeking physical therapy can certainly help so that the individual can regain as much normalcy as possible, it is still a difficult time in life that can be frustrating and extremely painful.

If the brain injury you have sustained is serious and was caused by no fault of your own, you will need legal assistance to be compensated for your pain and suffering, not to mention your medical bills. Randy Rozek and his law firm are there to help you in your time of need. Mr. Rozek is a highly skilled brain injury attorney who will fight to get you all of the compensation you deserve. His office is located in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, although he and his staff take on cases throughout the United States. It is Mr. Rozek’s goal to do as much good for each client as possible.
