Wisconsin Man Dead Following Involvement in Two Crashes
A North Prairie man who was severely injured in a motorcycle crash May 15 and then in another collision while being transported to the hospital by ambulance, has died as a result of his injuries.
According to an article by Lake Country Now, the incident occurred in the village of Mukwonago. The cause of death is still unknown due to the unusual circumstances surrounding his death.
Danny Weber, 48, was being transported to Froedtert Hospital May 15 following a motorcycle crash. The ambulance carrying Weber was then involved in a collision with another vehicle near 92nd Street and Oklahoma, the cause of which is still under investigation, according to the article.

The initial crash occurred on Highway 83 at Black Bear Boulevard in Mukwonago. According to Mukwonago Police Chief Kevin Schmidt, Weber was northbound on Highway 83 on a motorcycle when a 2008 Mercury sedan pulled out from Black Bear Boulevard to head south on 83.
Weber’s motorcycle struck the rear of the sedan.
The driver of the car, a man from Burlington, was taken to Waukesha Memorial Hospital with minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Weber reportedly sustained a serious head injury as he was not wearing a helmet when he was thrown from his motorcycle, according to the article.
Mukwonago Fire Chief Jeff Stien told news reporters Weber was in critical condition before he was transported by the Mukwonago Fire Department ambulance, but he is unsure whether the second crash contributed to his death.
Fire department personnel and the other individuals involved in that crash were not injured, Stien said in the article. After the collision, another ambulance took Weber to Froedtert. Mukwonago emergency medical technicians and paramedics were able to accompany and treat Weber on the way to the hospital.
The Mukwonago Police Department is working with the Wisconsin State Patrol Reconstruction Team to better determine the cause of the initial accident. The cause of the ambulance collision is also under investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department.
