Do I Have a Wrongful Death Claim in Wisconsin?

Wisconsin Law allows two different types of claims for individuals that have been wrongly killed. The first is the pain and suffering leading up to their death, and the latter is the wrongful death claim itself for family members of the lost loved one. Unfortunately our legislature has capped the latter amount to $350,000. Essentially, our legislature has decided that the value of a human life is only worth that amount.
