Two people are dead after a crash in Oneida last week.

Outagamie County Sherriff’s Deputies told NBC26 the crash happened just after 3 p.m. at the intersection of CTH E at CTH EE in the Town of Oneida.

“Deputies say a four door Mercury Marquis driven by a 91 year old man from the Town of Oneida was northbound on CTH E,” and article posted to the NBC26 website reads. “The vehicle stopped at the 4-way stop sign and entered the intersection. A dump truck towing a dual axle trailer was westbound on CTH EE and failed to stop at the stop sign. The dump truck, owned by a tree service from Appleton, hit the car on the passenger side.”

When authorities arrived on scene they found that both of the vehicles were in a field near the northwest corner of the intersection. The dumptruck was overturned and on its side.

The 91-year-old driver of the car and a 56 year-old female passenger who was with him both died at the scene of the crash.

“The 40-year-old male driver of the dump truck was transported to a Green Bay hospital with non-life threatening injuries,” the article reads. “The investigation of the crash is continuing. The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by the Wisconsin State Patrol, Oneida Police Department, Oneida and Freedom Fire, an Oneida First Responders.”
