A Wisconsin crash last week sent three people to the hospital with injuries, according to various media reports. The Wisconsin State Patrol released information to media that the collision occurred on County Highway F

“Emergency responders were called at 10:58 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at County Highway F at Arrowhead Lane in Sawyer County, just north of Birchwood,” an article reads on the Hudson Patch website.

An investigation into the crash revealed that a woman and child were traveling northbound in their vehicle at which time the woman lost control of the vehicle and traveled into the path of a southbound vehicle and crashed into it. There was one male driver in the vehicle that was hit.

The Wisconsin State Patrol described the scene in an accident report that was released to the public on Tuesday.

All three people involved in the crash were transported by ambulance to the Lake View Medical Center in Rice Lake.

The man, woman, and child were reportedly treated for non-life threatening injuries at the hospital.

“Assisting agencies included the Birchwood Police Department, Birchwood Ambulance, Birchwood Fire Department, and Sawyer County Sheriff’s Department,” the article reads.

The crash remained under investigation Tuesday by the Wisconsin State Patrol. There is no mention as to whether or not the woman is facing any charges in connection to the crash.
